In 1736, Leonard Euler studied the network of bridges over the river
Pregolya, which connected parts of the city Konigsberg in Prussia (now
Kaliningrad, Russia). The seminal results of this study are generally accepted as the

Starting in 2007, Pregolia is dedicated to adopt the latest in graph theory
to bridge academic communities by providing transparent social networking
services. Pregolia users will be able to explore academic institutes,
subject areas, meetings and periodicals of their interest, building upon the
social networks in these communities.
